I had to share this with you, so thought I'd put up a review of a product I'm using almost daily!
Elf's Golden Bronzer
Elf also do a 'warm' bronzer, and I really didn't know which one to choose. I'd seen quite a lot of reviews and swatches of the warm bronzer so really wanted to try this one out to see what it's like...
This is from the studio range at Elf so these are little bit more *pricey* - pah! At £3.50. I really like the studio range more simply because the packaging is alot more sleek and NARSesque! If you're looking for more of a contour bronzer - I wouldn't recommend this one. It's very shimmer (but no too shimmery) so doesn't work well as a contour, well for me anyway - I much prefer matte colours to contour. It does make the most amazing highlight though - either over blush, top of the cheekbones, bridge of the nose, brow bone and the list goes on! The powders are really pigmented and you can use them seperately for a desired look or mix them all together to make such a beautiful colour! The powder itself isn't chalky or powdery at all, it's very much soft and silky, almost velvety! Lol. It really is so nice to work with and blends so well.
I really do not have one bad thing to say about this product! Apart from... I wish Elf would move to UK stores!!!
Have you got the warm bronzer? What do you think of it... is it better for contour?

I have this and I do like it, but find its a bit orange on my skintone. x
ReplyDeleteI have this bronzer I think it's really good quality for the price tag. I agree it's def not a contour but I think it's really good to achieve that summery glow.
ReplyDeleteI have the cool bronzer which is matt so should be better for contouring but i find it a bit hard to blend so I use the nyc mosaic colour wheel in bronze glow which is really good and equally as cheap as Elf.
Great review! I have the warm bronzer, but i've not really used it yet as i'm waiting for my old bronzer to run out :) but the colours in it are gorgeous xx
ReplyDeleteI love this bronzer, i use it as highlight over my blusher. Its so versatile! Lovely post :) xxx
ReplyDeleteLoving you're reviews Natalie :)
ReplyDeleteI agree ELF products should be sold in UK shops ! x
Looks like a good product! If they sell ELF in shops then they would have to mark them up so the shops get a slice of the sales :( x
ReplyDelete@missmascara - aw man! thats a shame seeing as though you like it :( i hate it when things are too orangey >.<
ReplyDelete@LaurenLouise - ive been eyeing up that bronze mosaic wheel for a while! i have the pink one and i really like it - i think a trip to superdrug is called for! ;)
@Lauren - ahh okay, let me know how it goes when youve tried it out! :D
@LilyRibbons - yeaah, im always using it over blush, it gives such a pretty sheen!
@RaspberryKiss - aw thank you, im glad youre enjoying them, and i hope theyre helpful too! it kinda sucks to have to order off the internet :/ but as the products are so cheap i don't mind paying the delivery i guess :)
@me :) - ooh, thats true! catch 22 ey?! Lol.
